You will also acquire vocabulary relevant for discussing topics or events in the news. Couse Assessment 10% Attendance and participation 10% Student directed lesson 20% Class activities portfolio 20% Research and write essays 20% Unit listening quizzes 20% Final presentation Attendance and participation - 10 points : You should come to every class and be an active participant. Student directed lesson - 10 points : Your group should prepare a thirty-minute oral activity for the rest of the class which should be meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.
